Lori Diamos, PT, MS, FAFS, CAFS, FMS, SFMA, B3 Sciences BFR Certified Coach

Lori Diamos is a dedicated physical therapist with a Master’s degree from Ithaca College, graduating in 1995, and nearly 30 years of experience in the field. Known for her integrative approach, Lori combines traditional techniques with advanced training in functional and holistic movement science. She holds a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science (FAFS) from the Gray Institute—a 40-week program completed in 2019—and is certified in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) and 3D MAPS. Her expertise in Functional Movement Systems (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) enables her to get to the root of movement issues and provide tailored solutions.
 
As a B3 Sciences BFR Certified Coach, Lori is passionate about incorporating BFR technology into treatment. She utilizes BFR bands with patients when appropriate to speed up healing and recovery, helping clients reach movement goals more efficiently. These bands also support broader wellness and sports performance, enhancing health from head to toe.
 
At Movement Physical Therapy, Lori is known for treating the whole person. Her philosophy focuses on addressing underlying imbalances and promoting sustainable health. Through her combined traditional and functional methods, Lori helps clients achieve pain-free, effective movement that improves their quality of life.

Erica has completed a manual orthopedic residency to better her commitment to assisting her patients to reach their full functional potential. She is also certified in the following treatments, allowing her to provide customized, comprehensive care to each patient:
